На рівні B2 важливо не лише правильно будувати речення, а й розуміти сталі вирази та фразеологізми, які активно використовуються носіями англійської мови. Їхнє значення часто неможливо зрозуміти, просто переклавши кожне слово окремо.
Наприклад, break the ice буквально означає «розбити лід», але насправді цей вираз використовується у значенні «розрядити атмосферу, почати спілкування». А фраза the ball is in your court означає, що тепер рішення або наступний крок залежить від тебе.
